How I Work
I offer counselling for women in Cape Town, with in-person sessions in Rondebosch, walk-and-talk sessions in Constantia, and online counselling worldwide.
My work is depth-oriented, reflective, and psychologically informed.
Sessions are conversational but purposeful. We explore relational dynamics, formative experiences, belief systems, and emotional patterns that feel difficult to shift alone.
Rather than focusing on surface strategies or quick advice, the aim is to deepen internal awareness — so that change comes from understanding, not pressure.
Where appropriate, simple breath awareness may be introduced to support nervous system regulation and emotional steadiness.
The goal is not dependency.
It is autonomy.
Ways to Work Together
Sessions are held at my private practice in Rondebosch, conveniently located for clients in Claremont, Newlands, Rosebank, and surrounding areas.
In-Person Counselling in Rondebosch, Cape Town
Held along the Alphen Trail in Constantia.
This is a gentle walk at a natural pace — not a fitness session. For some women, being outdoors softens the intensity of counselling and allows conversations to flow more freely.
Walk & Talk Therapy in Constantia
Online therapy sessions are offered via secure video.
Many clients find online therapy to be just as connected and effective as in-person work, while offering greater flexibility.
Online Counselling in South Africa & Worldwide
As an Advanced Pneumanity Breathwork Practitioner, I offer standalone breath regulation sessions for those experiencing anxiety, dysregulated breathing patterns, or chronic stress.
These sessions are practical, grounded, and evidence-informed — focused on correcting breathing habits and supporting nervous system balance.
Breath awareness may also be integrated into counselling sessions where appropriate.
Functional Breathing & Nervous System Regulation
Sessions are 50–60 minutes in length and are R850 per session. Payment is due upon invoicing via EFT. As a Specialist Wellness Counsellor registered with the ASCHP, sessions are not covered by medical aid.
How to Get Started
1. Get in Touch
You’re welcome to book a discovery call or send an email enquiry.
The discovery call is a brief, no-obligation conversation to understand what’s bringing you to counselling and whether working together feels like the right fit.
If you already feel ready, you’re welcome to book your first session directly.
2. Confirm Your Appointment
Once your session is scheduled, you’ll receive:
• A confirmation of your appointment time
• Location details or secure online link
• Session fee and payment information
• A confidential online intake form
The intake form covers the practical details ahead of time, allowing our first session to focus on what’s bringing you here.
All paperwork is completed digitally for ease and privacy.
3. Your First Session
Our first 50-minute session is a space to slow down and begin.
We’ll explore what’s brought you here, what feels stuck or unsettled, and what you’re hoping might feel different.
You don’t need clear goals or perfectly articulated problems.
I’ll ask thoughtful questions, notice patterns, and help you make sense of what feels difficult.
From there, we decide together on a rhythm that feels supportive — whether short-term focused work or longer-term therapeutic exploration.
Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build momentum. Over time, sessions often taper to fortnightly or monthly as things begin to settle.
