In person Therapy

R710.00* per session | Rondebosch

The therapy room seems to be one of the only remaining places where two people can sit together uninterrupted for 50 minutes. My practice offers an unconditional, non-judgemental containing space to women seeking the clarity to live with increased insight, personal power, and purpose. By supporting your personal growth and healing, I’ll help you steadily move towards a state of centeredness and equilibrium. I combine practical, solution-focused techniques with insight-oriented psychodynamic theory and a dash of eastern wisdom to help you find healthier perceptions of yourself.

"I don't go to the forest to be stoic and quiet. I go to let the wild things out. I've learned my body needs to talk itself empty while walking and loves to speak into the cathedral of trees.”

Sarah Blondin

Walk & Talk Therapy

R710.00* Per Session | Constantia

Walk-and-talk therapy takes your sessions outdoors to the Constantia Alphen Trail, with magnificent views of Table Mountain. This alternative approach to therapy infuses the benefits of fresh air and movement into your sessions. Clients often find that they prefer to move or walk as opposed to sitting across from a therapist in an office or looking through a screen. Movement can also make it easier to discuss feelings and encourages psychological movement — which can accelerate breakthroughs. The endorphins produced by walking have a known positive impact on mental health, and clients find they’re more energized at the end of outdoor sessions than after traditional visits.

Online Therapy

R710.00* per session | Zoom

In our post pandemic world, online therapy has become somewhat de rigueur. And while it will never replace the magic of in-person connection, it has it’s own set of advantages that can’t be beat. Clients prefer the convenience of not having to get into their cars to go anywhere, and the comfort of being able to have their sessions at home in the emotional safety of their own space. Online therapy also bypasses those awkward waiting room moments and the banter and chit-chat that goes along with it.

You cannot reset your nervous system, but you can make it more adaptable and resilient.

Breathwork

Correct:

We all have maladaptive breathing habits that we’ve developed over the course of our lives due to lifestyle and stress. The aim of correct is to re-pattern your baseline breathing in order to get it to it’s optimal level. This ensures you’re getting the correct amount of oxygen and carbon dioxide into the body, and the maintain the correct PH levels.

regulate:

There are a number of breathwork techniques that can be used to calm, energise and balance the nervous system. These are quick self-soothing techniques that can be used at any time throughout the day to self-regulate.

Transform:

Conscious connected breathing is an ancient practice that’s used to tap into parts of the brain we don’t have access to on a conscious level, through the theta brain state. Using this technique allows for expanded states of consciousness, release and healing
